AXON's QA/HSE Management System

To secure that the HSE and Quality targets are reached, AXON has implemented an integrated Quality and Health, Safety and Environmental Management System based on the standards ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems and NORSOK . AXON is certified towards ISO 9001-2008 and qualified towards Achilles, in addition to work in accordance to ISO 14001, Norsok and OHSAS.

ISO 9001-2008 Certification

The QA management system is certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 standard, which means that our quality assurance management system has been certified against a best practice standard and found compliant by a third party certification. This standard puts major emphasis on customer satisfaction and continual improvement.

The scope of AXON’S certification includes:

►“Supplier of products, services and solutions to the drilling and well industry worldwide”.

►“Supplier of modifications to existing drilling facilities and complete rig solutions”.

►“Flexible and independent integrator of drilling and well products and services”.

AXON’s QA management system is certified by Technological institute (TI), with certification no. 299. Our QA management system for manufacturing is certified the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) with certification no. 30024.

Achilles Approval

Qualified in the Achilles joint qualification system for suppliers to the oil industry in Norway and Denmark, registration number: 24519.

American Petroleum Institute (API) Approvals

API 6A, ISO 10423 – cross-over connectors, tees and crosses, adapter and spacer spools, valves, chokes, flanged connectors, threaded connectors, and other end connections.

API 16A, ISO 13533 – ram BOPs, ram blocks, packers and top seals, annular BOPs, hydraulic connectors, drilling spools, adapters, loose connections and clamps.
